I may be under a misapprehension here (it wouldn’t be the first time), but I thought rtMedia could operate without BuddyPress being installed. If that’s the case, I can’t see how it’s taken effect, apart from seeing the Settings page.

I remember saw it in some video you need to purchase it, if you dont want to buy you can use other plugin. Everyone using the same plugin facing the same issue.
It’a misleading to call itself rtMedia for WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress when it isn’t.
