Cache Plugin Still Required With Nginx Caching?

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been asked over and over but I’ve seen conflicting stuff via Google, even here.

Is a page-caching-solution such as W3TC or WSC required even with Nginx FastCGI Cache?

Is Nginx creating the cached files of my page/posts, storing and serving them or do I need to do something else to create the cached versions of my page/posts so Nginx serves them?

first of all how did you enable nginx caching?

are you using proxy caching?

w3tc requires some addion configuration server side, you need to create conf in nginx directory
