If I update easyengine does it also update wp-cli?

Probably yes (I really don’t know).

But I advise you to update WP-Cli manually:

wp cli update

WP-Cli should always be up to date, because some changes in WP core affect compatibility of older versions of the tool.

@portofacil you are right. Due to the move towards php the current release of easy engine has sort of leveled off. If you don’t update wp-cli you will find yourself with an old version. I realized for example that I could no longer change the WordPress password effectively using the old version which came with EE until I did a manual update.
