Installing mail packages fails; cannot identify error

For some strange reason, installing the “standard” ee packages goes fine, but after issuing the command ee stack install --mail it all goes to hell

It returns an error wit a generic reason: Oops Something went wrong!! Check logs for reason tail /var/log/ee/ee.log & Try Again!!!

The log doesn’t help me that much either:

Running newaliases Job for postfix.service failed because the control process exited with error code. I would like to start using the fully integrated package EasyEngine delivers, but for some strange reason I can’t get it to work.

Anyone?

Thanks in advance!
