Would like to consolidate the Updates feed we have in our BuddyPress Newsfeed to contain both status updates and the rtMedia updates, instead of there being two separate feeds. It is not intuitive for users to go to the dropdown to find media posts, and a lot of users won’t do it at all even if they know where it is

If you want both the ( status and rtMedia ) updates a time then you can select the first option Everything. There is not any custom option available with our plugin which can allow you to separately combine these two feeds and display together.
