'a' and 'the' creating huge issues

From what I have seen no plugins or methods seem to really fix the issue that blogger does not put “a” or sometimes “the” in their permalinks. The only comment I have seen about this is to edit it manually in WP. With over 500 posts that starts to be rather time consuming.

Is there a better way to deal with this?
